Canada-Ontario Environmental Farm Plan

Workbooks created from July 14, 2025, onward, will utilize the 5th Edition platform. Producers with an in-progress 4th Edition workbook will be able to complete and submit their workbook for verification until December 1, 2025. After that date, farmers must restart their workbook using the 5th Edition content.

The eEFP is an electronic workbook for farmers who want to update a previously verified 4th Edition EFP. This is not a replacement for the in-person, 2-day workshop or 2-session webinar. Farmers who are new to EFP or who have not participated for many years are encouraged to register for the in-person or webinar option which provides instruction from OSCIA field staff, networking with fellow farmers and information about cost-share opportunities..

Welcome to the electronic version of the Canada-Ontario Environmental Farm Plan (EFP) Workbook, Fourth Edition. The EFP is a voluntary education and awareness program designed to help Ontario farmers prepare confidential and self-administered environmental risk assessments for their farms. Action plans are then developed to deal with the identified concerns.
